Eco printed 100% Silk Satin Twist Headbands Soft Pink
These headbands are a little piece of luxury! Handmade from 100% silk satin they have each been individually dyed and eco printed with a range of botanicals and fresh flowers from my dye garden. They are elasticated for ease of wear and look and feel great.
For the pale pink bands the fabric is first dyed with avocado pits, which yield this gorgeous soft vintage pink. I then picked a range of seasonal dye flowers from my garden to eco print the flower patterns. For these I’ve used combinations of Coreopsis, Pink Cosmos, Black Scabious, Onion Skin and Marigold. I next stitch the fabric into the elasticated twist headband.
These are made in small batches so I currently have three slightly different versions available - see the drop down menu to choose your favourite! They will come beautifully wrapped and boxed.
Can be gently hand washed in an eco detergent and softener and ironed on cool.
