Eco printed 100% Silk Satin Alice Headband Rich Pink
These headbands are a little piece of luxury! Handmade from 100% silk satin they have each been individually dyed and eco printed with a range of botanicals and fresh flowers from my dye garden. They are elasticated for ease of wear and look and feel great.
For the Rich Pink bands the fabric is first dyed with the ancient dye of Madder Root, used for centuries for a range of reds through pinks . I then picked a range of seasonal dye flowers to eco print the flower patterns. I’ve used Coreopsis, Orange Cosmos, Marigold and Black Scabious for this one. I’ve then stitched it into this simple elasticated Alice style headband.
I only have one of these rich pink ones and it is my personal favourite- so glamorous. It will come beautifully wrapped and boxed.
Can be gently hand washed with an eco detergent and softener and ironed on cool.
